The video was produced as a personal souvenir, as well as for approaching local and national sponsors. "I have had the pleasure of working with Simon from West Canada Films on two separate occasions and found him to be very personable and intuitive to the project at hand. He has a calm, controlled nature and was able to direct us all without any pressure or tension and showed a lot of patience with the kids. Simon did some filming of our son Casey snowboarding for the Kicking Horse River Lodge video and we were so thrilled with the final result that we asked him to do a professional film of Casey snowboarding for our own personal use. Simon listened to what we wanted to achieve with our film and organized everything. There was a lot of communication between Simon and ourselves, he was very adaptable to any changes we wanted to make or if we thought he was asking too much of Casey. I would most certainly recommend Simon of West Canada Films for your next commercial or personal project " - Paul and Taraha Dixon CBC, Vancouver, BC
